Large cashouts

Cash out large amounts of crypto to a bank account

For a large cashout, use a bank payout: SEPA takes up to $15,000 per order into a European account, and ACH or Wise the same, all for 1%. Every order shows the rate, fee and exact payout first, and a person on our team checks it before it is paid. Planning to go past one order's limit? Contact support before you send.

Your situation

Large cashouts: what matters

With a big sum, the cost and the paper trail matter more than speed. A 1% fee on $15,000 is $150, and a bank transfer leaves a statement line that you and your accountant can match to the order.

Large transfers draw questions from banks, and our team looks at unusually large orders case by case. One clearly documented order is cleaner than a sum split up to stay under a threshold, which can look like an attempt to dodge checks.

Step by step

Moving a big sum safely

  1. 1

    Message support first

For anything near a payout's limit or above it, tell support the amount and payout before you send. Support usually replies within an hour.

  2. 2

    Warn your bank

A large incoming transfer from a sender your bank has not seen before can lead to questions or a hold. A note in advance helps.

  3. 3

Test with a small first order

An order at the payout's minimum, $500 for SEPA or Wise and $1,000 for ACH, to the same account proves the details before the large one goes.

  4. 4

Send the main order in USDT

A stablecoin keeps its value while the transfer confirms, so the coins you send still match the quote.

Good to know

Before you move a large sum

Match the account name

SEPA asks for the account holder's name. Type it exactly as your bank has it.

Allow time for the check

A person reviews every order, and a large one can take longer to clear than a small one.

Keep records for tax

Selling crypto is taxable in many countries. Your order pages show what you sold, the rate and the date. This is general information, not tax advice.

Questions

Common questions

Every payout's maximum is on the limits page.

What is the most I can cash out in one order?

$15,000 by SEPA, ACH or Wise, and $5,000 on PayPal, the virtual Visa and most other payouts. For more, contact support before sending.

Which route costs least on a large amount?

The bank payouts, SEPA, ACH and Wise, at 1%. The virtual Visa costs 2%, plus $10 on your first card, and only makes sense if you will spend the money online.

Should I split a large sum into several orders?

Only when it is above one order's limit, and tell support first. Splitting to stay under a bank or reporting threshold can be treated as dodging checks, and in some countries it is illegal.

Will I have a record of the cashout?

Yes. Each order page shows the date, coin, amount sent, rate, fee and payout, and your account lists every past order.

Is a large cashout taxable?

Often, yes. The rules depend on where you live and how long you held the coins. Keep your order pages and check with a tax adviser. This is general information, not tax advice.
