The short answer

To sell BNB for cash, create an order with your payout, then send the exact BNB shown to its 0x address on BNB Smart Chain, which exchanges list as BSC or BEP-20. It usually confirms in under a minute and costs a fraction of a cent in gas. Our fee is 1% to 2%, and payouts to PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and the virtual Visa follow within minutes.

About BNB

Four names, one network that works

BNB's history leaves holders with a confusing withdraw menu. BNB Smart Chain, also written BSC or BEP-20, is the chain orders accept. Its addresses start with 0x, like Ethereum's.

The old BNB Beacon Chain, with BEP-2 addresses starting bnb1, was shut down in November 2024 when BNB Chain folded it into BSC. opBNB is a separate layer 2 network built on top of BSC. And some exchanges still list BNB as a token on Ethereum. None of those three can pay an order.

On the right chain, BNB is cheap and quick. Validators cut the minimum gas price to 0.05 gwei in October 2025, which puts a plain transfer at a fraction of a cent, and blocks have come about every 0.45 seconds since January 2026.

Many holders keep their BNB on Binance. In mid-2026 Binance told customers in France, Italy, Spain and Poland that services would be suspended after it missed the EU licensing deadline, so if you live there, check that withdrawals are still open before you create an order.

Avoid these

BNB slips worth avoiding

Most of these take seconds to check on your wallet screen.

Withdrawing to a bnb1 address

That format belongs to the retired Beacon Chain. Your order address starts with 0x, so choose BSC or BEP-20 when you withdraw.

Choosing opBNB

It runs on top of BSC but is its own network. BNB sent on opBNB is not credited to an order.

Sending BEP-20 tokens

On BSC, orders take native BNB only. USDT, USDC and other tokens on BSC are not credited; for USDT, withdraw on TRC-20 or ERC-20 and use the USDT page.

Step by step

How to sell BNB with Zilligo

  1. 1

    Create the order

Choose your payout and amount. The order shows the BNB to send, to six decimals, and a 0x address.

  2. 2

    Withdraw on BSC

On Binance or any exchange, choose BNB, then the network BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). In a wallet such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask, make sure BNB Smart Chain is the active network.

  3. 3

    Paid within minutes

BNB usually confirms in under a minute, and wallet and card payouts follow within minutes.

Tips

Practical BNB advice

  1. 1

Read the network name, not the coin name

Withdraw menus can list BNB several times. The one you want says BNB Smart Chain, BSC or BEP20.

  2. 2

Keep a little BNB if you hold tokens on BSC

Gas on BSC is paid in BNB. Sell what you need and leave enough to move any tokens later.

  3. 3

    Add the exchange fee

Exchanges deduct a BNB withdrawal fee. Add it so the exact amount on your order arrives.

  4. 4

Save the hash and the reference

A block explorer such as BscScan finds the transfer by its hash. Support needs it with your order reference if anything looks wrong.

Questions

Before you sell BNB

How do I sell BNB for cash?

Create an order with your payout, then withdraw the BNB it shows on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) to the order address. When it confirms, we send the money.

Is BEP-20 the same as BNB Smart Chain?

Yes. BEP-20 is the token standard on BNB Smart Chain, and exchanges use BSC, BEP20 and BNB Smart Chain for the same network.

What about BEP-2 and the Beacon Chain?

The Beacon Chain was shut down in November 2024. Addresses starting bnb1 belong to it and cannot be used. Send from BSC.

Can I send BNB on opBNB?

No. opBNB is a separate layer 2 network. Withdraw on BNB Smart Chain.

Can I sell USDT that is on BEP-20?

Not on BSC. Orders take USDT on Tron or Ethereum only, so withdraw it from the exchange on one of those networks.

How long does a BNB sale take?

BNB usually confirms in under a minute. PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and the virtual Visa pay out within minutes after that.

How much is gas on BSC?

A plain BNB transfer costs a fraction of a cent at the 0.05 gwei minimum gas price. If you send from an exchange, its own withdrawal fee comes on top.
